One day, you too, will be a mid- late 20’s rider with an ambitious bikepacking goal and an entry level fatbike. You will research pannier racks for hours in hopes of adding storage space. You will find NOTHING OF VALUE while reading a multitude of articles online.Fortunately for you, I have already put in the screen time and attempted this.I am here to tell you that this rack DOES in fact fit a Framed Minnesota 2.0It did you have take some problem solving skills, some guess work, and some patience, but it bolted right up to my bike via the extended quick release bolt/nut and the extenders that attach to the rack and bolt to the braze ons located below the saddle of my bike. When I finally purchased a saddle bag set up, I had to readjust/narrow the rack to make the bag sit properly. There is hope. It can be doneYou too, can go bikepack 180 miles with your (equally) crazy best friend.CheersThis is a great rack. I have a fat tire bike with a disc brakes and this thing gives a perfect amount of clearance and doesn’t interfere with the brake or brakeline. It’s super sturdy and holds a good amount of weight. I can see where it’s definitely rated for 70 pounds. You might need a little bit of blue Loctite on the bolts but once you’ve got that on they’re not moving and you have an excellent product.I used it on the front, took 10 minutes to install.Missing bolts and had to drill holes for my tail lights. Also won't mount too the front of my mountain 26in fat tire bikeI bought this rack for my Surly ECR with 29x3.0 tires. The adjustability of the rack is great and I got it to fit very nicely on my bike. I have used the rack on several long bikepacking trips with heavy loading (~40 lbs) on rough terrain and it has performed like a champ. There are 2 reasons I did not give this rack 5 stars.First, some of the bolts are aluminum. When I tried to screw the aluminum bolts in, the resistance was high due to lots of threads on the bike frame (deep bolt hole) and blue Loctite on the bolts. The resistance was so high, that I stripped out the 4mm hex head of the bolt before the bolt was all the way in (not overtightened). I had to replace the provided aluminum bolts with stainless steel bolts. The second issue I had was that the support strut attachment bracket on the rack has a hex head set screw that sticks out from the face of the bracket. This protruding screw wore a hole in my Ortlieb panniers. To fix this issue, I had to glue a washer on the strut bracket to recess the screw head (see photos). So, this is a great rack that would be even greater with steel fasteners instead of aluminum and an update to the support bracket to keep the screw head from sticking out.I bought this rack for my 2015 Specialized Fatboy and it fits perfectly. I have the stock 4.6" Ground Control tires on it and there is no doubt running the max 5" tire size will not cause any problems. I mounted the rack using the M4 screw mounts instead of using the extend thru-axle option. I also did not need to use the vinyl clamps for the rear stays; I just used the stock screws on the frame. The welds are definitely good quality and the two tone color looks great as well. There is no doubt this rack will hold the recommended 70lbs not that I will get close to that with my camping gear. I plan to run the waterproof Axiom panniers on this rack along with a basket of some sort for my dog to ride with me on occasion. All the screws are pre-coated with blue Loctite too. I believe all the screw were 4mm to you only need a single tool (included) to install which is great.I did not need to adjust the height of the rack either and I'm running it on the lowest setting so it will go pretty high if you prefer that. It will certainly clear 29er style tires with ease I am sure. My 26"x4.6"s are pretty close to the profile of a 29er fully inflated anyway. So, if you are looking for a high quality fat bike specific rack with multiple mounting options look no further.I mounted this on a Cannondale Catalyst, using Purchased this for a 2019 Surly ECR and it fit perfectly. I looked at many racks for this wide tired bike (3 inch rear tire) and while some may of fit, the frame stay clearance looked to have been an issue. The frame stays on this rack are adjustable and are on the outside of the rack with makes for a more direct support and with no clearance issues. I run Ortlieb panniers and I did have to turn the bottom bag attachment upside down, as Ortlieb indicates can be done. Also I glued a washer over one fitting as suggested by someone else to prevent chaffing of the bag. Ive ridden pretty rough terrain with loaded bags and no issues. The product is great but the Rack only comes in one colour which is silver,Brown metallic & not black as the picture misleadingly alludes to. I have contacted the seller regards this having recently ordered one for my black MTB.The Rack doesn’t fit on my bike without further adjustments. Its a cruiser in retro-design.My bike has a "hub gear" (I hope that’s the right word). There ain’t enough space between the nexus-thing and the borehole.I used a metal-sheet with 2 holes as extension, which I mounted on the bike. Then I mounted the Rack to the metal-sheet and used the clamps for the "extenders".Let's see how this works, and if it will be sturdy enough like that.Of course, you need 2 extra-screws and nuts. in M5 (metric) and something as screwlock.Great rack for my Fatbike.
