I did have a magnetic knife strip before and while great, I wanted something a little bigger and to keep some of my other kitchen tools handy. This magnetic organizer with hanging storage is great and fits my space perfectly.Installation was very easy thanks to the hole template provided. I used a laser level to get the angle correct and just had to mark and drill some holes for the drywall anchors. As it turns out, one of my holes is over a stud and just needed the screw. The resulting installation is very sturdy. I like how low profile it is against my wall.I love how much space I have for storing all the bulky things that I have difficulty finding places for in drawers. It works great for things that are awkwardly shaped like my rotary cheese grater that was always getting tangled with everything. It is a good spacing away from the magnetic strip to have room for my knife handles. The magnetic strip has strong magnets and very securely holds even my heaviest knives. I find it very handy and easy to remove and replace both knives from the strip and tools from the hooks.It is a great, space-saving addition to my kitchen. It is also beautiful to see all my nice knives and tools on display. I love it so much more than using a knife block.
