My pans arecast iron and Le Creuset enamaled cast iron, and carbon steel. They are HEAVY and I’ve been stacking them inside each other with towels between them so they don’t get damaged. This was a pain to have to lift out the pans to use a larger one. Basically the same set up with my mostly glass bakeware.I saw these and decided I had nothing to lose so I ordered 2.What I really like is they can be used as one expandable piece or 2 separate pieces.They work perfectly for my pans and bakeware. The only thing I did was to wrap electrical tape (which is kind of rubbery) around the base rails where my enamaled pans sit. That is just the painted metal and I didn’t want to to scrape the enamaled on my pans. A quick and effective fix, not there is a protective covering on those spots.I recently got a new double oven range so no more oven drawer to store my pot lids. Used each piece separate and they fit perfectly in my lazy Susan cupboard. I was concerned these wouldn’t be stable enough to hold the lids with movement of the cupboard but they are very sturdy and I have no worries anymore. The lids are secure and the organizer itself is very stable.Lids with a knob fit better than lids with a handle, but they still work.I don’t have a large kitchen so I am very happy these work in my small cabinetsWas looking for a way to get easy access to my pots and pans instead of having then sit on top of each other in a pile. This worked great. We ended up not combining the two racks to make one long one but kept the separate to site on either side of the cabinet. We made one for pots and one for pans.Make sure you have the height in your cabinets for the handles to stand all the way up- that was sort of an issue for us so one of our tall pans sits at the end and leans over the one in front of it.Very solid and even our cast iron pan is supported nicely in the rack. Plenty of dividers we ended up with and extra.Makes us feel much more organized and we are not constantly searching for a pot or pan.I absolutely love this thing. It fits so well on the counter, all you have to do is put a towel underneath to catch the liquid. Really the only thing I wish is that it was just slightly bigger to accommodate larger pots and such.
