Just what I was looking for! All the cables are now off the floor and relatively hidden. It's simple to install and is sturdy enough for a long, heavy surge protector and all of the power cables and boxes needed for our devices. The open wire design of the tray makes it quite versatile, giving you spaces to hang, thread and loop as needed. I did attach felt pads to protect the surface of the desk; this is something I feel the manufacturere should have included. Also, keep in mind that the tray will only work on an open style desk or shelf because it attaches at the top and bottom of a "board" and hangs straight down from that. I actually had to remove a supporting piece from the top back of our desk for the tray to secure properly.
