I installed the 2 rail system on my Ford Transit Connect LWB contractor version. The rear was easy but the front location just behind the seats was a bit of a challenge. My van has styrofoam blocks that need to be removed to access the inside mounting holes & a mini pry bar worked well for that. The challenge was getting the washers and nut on the bolt inside the door track and it helps to have small fingers as well as a deep 1/2" socket. A 12 mm box wrench worked better on the bolt heads. It took me about 90 minutes which included a trip to the hardware store to buy more stainless nuts and washers to replace the ones that fell under the front seat and vanished. I had read a few reviews that mentioned excessive wind noise so I took it out on the highway and did not find the roof racks contributed to the sound of an uninsulated van filled with tools and parts.
