It is great for small spaces and no assembly requiredI bought this so I wouldn't have to keep using a dish towel to set my dishes on to dry. I incorrectly assumed that like any logically designed drying rack, it would prevent water getting on the counter - because that's the point of having a drying rack. To dry your dishes without getting anything else wet. This is useless and inefficient because there is no way of catching any of the water that leaks through the holes. There is no tray or detachable mat to even give the option, unless you want to buy an additional tray to put underneath it. It literally ADDS an extra step. Don't buy this. It's pointless. You're better off setting your dishes to dry on a $0.50 dish towel from a thrift shop. Because you're going to need one to set underneath this thing anyway.I bought it for the caravan because it is compact and folds to store. It is good but the top frame tends to come off but I think I can overcome that. I planned to use it in the caravan where there is no drainboard. The base of this is perforated to let the water drip through but it's OK, I also bought a tray for it to sit on to overcome that, and I also have a tray for other things.
